Universal Display Corporation is a world leader in the invention, research, development and commercialization of state-of-the-art OLED technologies and materials. Since our founding in 1994, UDC’s mission has been to provide state-of-the-art OLED technologies and materials to manufacturers for use in displays and solid-state lighting applications. Through close collaboration with our customers and partners around the world, we create, develop and commercialize OLED materials, technology solutions and services to meet their needs. Today, UDC serves the world’s manufacturers of active-matrix OLED displays and lighting products through longstanding partnerships and agreements. With annual customer surveying, we are always striving to find new opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and success.
Technology Licensing – With more than 6,000 issued and pending patents worldwide, our goal is to enable OLED manufacturers to produce high-performance products with enhanced product features using our broad portfolio of OLED technologies. We license our proprietary OLED technologies to manufacturers of products for display applications, such as mobile phones, wearables, tablets, notebooks and televisions, and specialty and general lighting products.
UniversalPHOLED® Materials Business – Complementing our proprietary Phosphorescent OLED (PHOLED) technology, Universal Display develops and sells high-performance proprietary PHOLED emissive materials’ systems for use in making OLED displays and lighting panels. We collaborate closely with each of our customers to custom design next-generation materials that meet their different specifications for color, efficiency and lifetime.
Technology Transfer Services – We also provide an array of technology transfer services, including on-site training, to facilitate the smooth adoption of our technologies and materials. Additionally, in our Ewing NJ headquarters, our in-house pilot line allows us to provide on-site technical support and technology transfer services.
