Universal Display Corporation (“UDC”, “we”, “us” or “our”) believes in the importance of privacy and respects the privacy of visitors to this website (this “Site”) and is committed to complying with the applicable data protection laws in the countries in which we operate. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”), which explains our practices in connection with the information about you that we may collect through this Site. By accessing or using this Site, you are agreeing to the collection of information and practices as described in this Policy.
This Policy is incorporated into and forms a part of this Site’s Terms of Use.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU
We collect personal information from and about users of this Site, both automatically while you visit this Site and directly when you provide it, as follows:
a. AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED USAGE DATA
When you visit this Site, some information is automatically collected. For example, we may collect information about your computer or other device’s operating system, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type and language, and the names of the websites you visited before and after this Site. We also collect information about your usage and activity on this Site, including which pages you visit, how much time you spend on each page, and the day and time of your visit.
UDC may use “cookies” or related tracking technologies to automatically collect this information. Cookies are small data files stored on your computer or other device’s hard drive by a website. We may use cookies to see which areas and features of this Site are popular and to count visits to this Site. We may use other technologies to count visits, understand usage and to tell if an email has been opened. Except for users of those parts of this Site for which you provide us with personal information, we do not associate cookies with any personal information of visitors to this Site.
Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies by changing your browser settings. Turning off cookies may result in an inability to visit certain areas of this Site or to receive personalized information on this Site.
Certain browsers offer a “do not track” option that sends a signal to websites a user has visited to communicate the browser’s do not track preference setting. UDC does not currently take actions to respond to “do not track” signals sent by web browsers because a uniform technological standard has not yet been developed. We continue to review new technologies and may adopt a standard once one is created.
