Responsibilities:

  • Develop real-time Python applications for equipment control in an agile software development environment
  • Build, test, debug and release SW for subsystems and system
  • Participate in all phases of software development
  • Participate in SW architecture concepts & specifications creation and analysis to meet system requirements
  • Ability to adapt to a changing highly complex system development environment and handle multiple tasks

 

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of related experience in the field of Software Engineering
  • Experience in developing real-time Python applications for equipment control in an agile software development environment.
    • Operating System Environments: Linux / Ubuntu and Windows
    • Languages: Python, C and C++
    • Automation and process control; flat panel display, vacuum systems
    • Qt Creator/Designer development tools and frameworks
    • Multi-threaded/Process applications
  • Experience in fast paced operations engineering environment
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in team environment across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

Salary range per year: $120,000/year to $180,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
